Reflections on 2011

I don't make formal New Year's Resolutions. Over the years, I've discovered that they tend to fall by the wayside long before spring and I feel guilty about the lack of follow-through.

Instead, I use the New Year to think about all the wonderful things I did in the past year. At the top of my list are: speaking about Psychiatric Service Dogs at two different venues, advocating on behalf of Service Dog handlers in my county, dedicating much of my time to increasing my knowledge of dog behavior, learning new training techniques, joining the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, and adopting my Pug, Winston.

What did you do last year that made you proud?
